Make Your Voice Heard

Why is it important to gather together?

Decisions are being made at national and state levels that can positively or negatively impact the lives and well-being of our nation’s children and families. Whether it’s reducing funding for children’s mental health, proposing to weaken parent rights in special education, or watering down requirements for measuring parent involvement in Maternal and Child Health programs for children with special healthcare needs, there is a trend that parent advocates cannot afford to ignore! The voice of family organizations and family leaders is desperately needed to reverse this trend and ensure that national, state, and local policies recognize the value of having diverse family leaders at every decision-making table!
